Tech Himalaya is Nepal's leading IT company, founded in 2020 and headquartered in Chitwan, Nepal with a US office in New York. We provide end-to-end IT services including web and mobile development, enterprise software, cloud hosting, bulk SMS, and digital marketing, plus our own suite of SaaS products.
Our main engineering office is in Bharatpur-5, Chitwan, Nepal. We also have a US presence at 447 Broadway, 2nd Floor Suite #129, New York, NY 10013. This dual presence allows us to work efficiently with both Nepali and international clients.
Tech Himalaya was founded in 2020. In five years we've delivered 750+ projects for 450+ clients, built five proprietary SaaS products, and established a presence in both Nepal and the United States.
Absolutely. We work with clients from Nepal, the US, Europe, Australia and beyond. Our team is fully English-proficient and our Nepal time zone (GMT+5:45) overlaps with EU business hours and US EST mornings, making daily communication straightforward.

Process & Timelines
We start with a free discovery call to understand your goals. Then we provide a detailed proposal with scope, timeline, and pricing. Once you approve, we move to planning (architecture, wireframes), followed by agile development with weekly demos, and finally delivery with training and support.
It depends on scope. A simple informational website can be ready in 1–2 weeks. A mobile app MVP typically takes 4–8 weeks. Enterprise software projects range from 2–6 months. We always provide a clear timeline upfront and keep you updated throughout.
Yes. We use agile sprints with weekly check-in calls and live demos so you can see exactly what's been built. You'll have access to a staging environment throughout development and we encourage your feedback at every stage.
Pricing
Pricing varies by complexity. A basic informational website starts from NPR 15,000. E-commerce platforms and custom web apps are quoted based on features and scope. We provide transparent, fixed-price quotes after the discovery call, no hidden fees.
Yes. Many clients work with us on a monthly retainer for ongoing development, maintenance, digital marketing, or cloud management. Retainer arrangements get priority scheduling and discounted rates compared to one-off projects.
Outsourcing
Nepal offers a compelling combination: rates 60% lower than US/EU developers, strong English proficiency, a time zone that overlaps with both EU and US mornings, and a growing pool of CS graduates trained on modern technologies. Unlike larger markets, you get senior engineers directly, not layers of management.
Nepal is GMT+5:45. This overlaps with European business hours and early-morning EST (9am NPT = 8:15am CET = 11:15pm EST previous day). We schedule daily standups at times that work for your team and are always available via Slack, email, and video calls.
